Hi All. I am listening to some Chinese instrumental music on youtube. Just thought I share with you.

Hope you like the sound from the wonderful instruments.

The next video is not really featuring Chinese musical instruments... it's a piece composed in 1959. And have become a classic in most Chinese orchestral performance.

It's known as the Butterfly Lovers. You may have probably heard of it. It is very famous. It is a very beautiful music telling the tragic love story of two lovers. It is like the Chinese version of Romeo and Juliet.

There are many rendition of this piece by different violinists. I particularly like this one by Lu Siqing 呂思清.

Hope you enjoy the beautiful videos of Chinese instrumental music.
