Waiting patiently. Be patient and bide your time.

First line Yang: He is waiting out in the open country. When there is constancy in virtue, there is no fault.

Second line Yang: Waiting in the mud is precarious.

Third line Yang: Waiting in the mud brings on enemies.

Fourth line Yin: Waiting in a place of blood, he must leave the lair.

Fifth line Yang: Waiting with food and wine, perseverance brings good fortune.

Top line Yin: He enters the lair. Three uninvited guests arrive. Treat them properly and all will be well.
